Powerful. Flexible. Easy-to-Use.
Treeno provides powerful methods for integrating with Treeno Content Server with web sites, line-of-business applications, third party software, and capture devices. Treeno also provides scripting capabilities to automate repetitive tasks and can interface with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
Treeno Web Services API is a SOAP-based software development kit that provides over 100 function calls to the Treeno Content Server. The Treeno Web Services API provides full product coverage allowing developers to interface with file uploads and downloads, metadata, document security, searching, versioning, and workflow access. As part of this offering, Treeno provides SDK documentation, sample code, access to our developer's forum, and test applications. Since Treeno's SDK is provided as a SOAP API, it can be used with virtually any development language including: .NET, C#, Visual Basic, Java, PHP, and many others.
Treeno Legacy Integrator is designed to connect to any Windows, web-based, or green-screen line-of-business application (CRM, ERP, Accounting System, etc). The tool provides a simple XML-based configuration making it simple to interface with almost any product in a matter of minutes. The Treeno Legacy Integrator is a small .NET application that sits in the system tray of a user that is integrating with an application. The configuration file is stored at the server which allows for instant deployment for changes to the integration or integrating with new applications.
Treeno Legacy Integrator uses a simple, but powerful interface. Two buttons, labeled "search" and "index", are available on a floating toolbar that can be completely hidden when not in use. In operation, a user can navigate to a specific record in their line-of-business application, click the "search" button which will launch the Treeno Content Server in a separate web browser and display the documents related to the specific record that is being viewed in the line-of-business application. Likewise, if a user has a document or email that they wish to attach to the currently viewed record in the line-of-business application, they can simply drag-and-drop the item to the "index" button. Also, if documents are scanned or otherwise sent to the inbox in Treeno, documents can be filed to the currently viewed record in the line-of-business application by clicking the index button. Since the Legacy Integrator fully integrates to the line-of-business application, Treeno will automatically capture any information to name the document that is stored in the Treeno Content Server, such as names, dates, account numbers, amounts, etc. This will allow users to search for the information on the Treeno Content Server without relying exclusively on the Legacy Integrator for retrieval.
