Treeno Document Portal allows documents to be published to an extranet where users outside of your organization can view and collaborate in a secure web portal. Your organization controls access so the external user can view only documents that have been designated for them after using a secure login. If you need to receive documents from your customers or partners, you can also grant them the ability to upload files through the portal. Incoming files can either be stored to a specific filing cabinet or in combination with the Treeno Workflow Engine, documents can be sent into a workflow which notifies the appropriate user of the incoming document.

 

Treeno also provides custom portal services that allow certain documents to be displayed within a third party application. For example, Treeno has embedded portal services into Schwab RT Web by Charles Schwab which allows the retirement plan participants and sponsors to access their own documents which are stored in the Treeno Content Server. Treeno also provides the ability for plan sponsors to upload surveys, payroll reports, and plan changes through the portal which enter a workflow in Treeno and notify the appropriate account manager.
